EDWARD DODSON REMODELING PERFORMANCE WARRANTY PROVIDED BY CONTRACTOR.COM
I. Contractor fails to complete work as defined by the contract.
• We pay a Replacement Contractor to complete the contracted work, up to the limit of coverage (contract amount or $125,000).
• We also pay related mediation costs and attorney’s fees.
II. Contractor fails to perform work in a professional, workmanlike manner.
• We pay a Replacement Contractor to correct any work not completed in a professionalworkmanlike manner as defined by applicable industry standards and/or industry custom andpractice, up to the limit of coverage (contract amount or $125,000).
• We also pay related mediation costs and attorney’s fees.
III. Contractor fails to perform work on time and under penalty.
• If Contractor fails to perform work on time, we pay the penalty(s) stipulated in the Contract, up to the limit of coverage (contract amount or $125,000).
• We also pay related mediation costs and attorney’s fees.
IV. Contractor uses products and/or materials not prescribed in the Contract
without written approval from Customer.
• We pay a Replacement Contractor to replace any products and/or materials used, which were not in compliance with the Contract, up to the limit of coverage (contract amount or $125,000). This warrant is specifically limited to products and materials that are integral to the Contract and not inconsequential.
• We also pay related mediation costs and attorney’s fees.
